Humans are the most ungrateful creature on this face of earth towards his Lord, Allah has set some examples for humans with some different types of diseases; to realized how much we are blessed with his mercy, yet there are humans who argue "If there is God, why sick people exist" but they fail to realize "If there is no God, we don't exist even to ask this question", let's be thankful to our lord who has created us and who has set signs and examples to realize that there is a God who has created us in perfect design.

"It is He Who gave you life, and He will give you death! Then, He will bring you back to life. Man, surely, is very ungrateful!" [Quran 22:66]
